About CIDC

Organization

The CIDC operates under a campus-wide mandate from the University Provost and is administered as a unit of the Cornell University Library. In addition there are two bodies that govern its activities, the members of which are appointed by the Provost. These bodies are:

• Policy Board, chaired by the University Librarian and including deans, directors, and other senior administrators of units in which CIDC is conducting programs.
• Advisory Board, consisting of faculty, outside experts in the field of information and library management, and representatives from computing, telecommunications, and media industries.
