IMAG/CU is a shared university image catalog that incorporates slides from the slide libraries of the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and the Department of History of Art; the digital surrogates from the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art; photographs from the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections in the Cornell University Library, and collections from the Johnson Art Museum, the Rare and Manuscripts Collection, the History of Art Slide Collection, and the Architecture, Art and Planning Slide Collection. CIDC has developed and administers the museum collection management system Multi Mimsy 2000. CIDC also sponsors cross-unit meetings to develop common descriptive practices.
