Thank you to all involved for a very interesting and exceedingly well illustrated and designed site. I think some of the comments about the effect of dictator's death on a country's are fascinating and I hadn't really thought about the effect before. For strong believers in the Fascist cause, how does the turning of all their dreams of power into ashes change their outlook and life course? I am saddenned to see a rather childish Fascist sympathiser (I presume - John Hameln) posting to the site and ashamed he is from my own country, which is generally so firmly resolved against such abberations to human nature. I personally am studying (for a PHd at Birkbeck College, University of London under Dr Linda Bourke (author of An Intimate History of Killing; Face to Face Warfare in the Twentieth Century - highly recommended) events right at the start of the cycle that Death of the Father finishes - the paramilitary groups that sprung up right after the great war (c1918-24). Anyone interested in this area in welcome to e-mail me at Paul@Hodges46.freeserve.co.uk. Thank you again.
