This site experiments with delivering archival finding aids encoded in EAD (Encoded Archival Description) directly in XML, making use of XSL, the XML styling language. An XML capable web browser is required to view properly formatted XML documents. To date, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 is the only XML capable browser available.
If you do not have an XML capable browser, the links below should automatically create an HTML version of the finding aid.
Over time we will be adding additional finding aids and making adjustments to both the XML and XSL. We apologize for any performance problems, which may vary. Please let us know if you experience problems or if you have questions.
We have put together several documents explaining our system.
